In 1991, Parker Edwards Knives made preparations to close their Jacksonville, Alabama factory. When employees and members of the community turned to Ken Griffey for help, he stepped up to the plate, bought the factory, and reincarnated it as Bear Knives. Victorinox acquired the company almost ten years later, but decided to close the factory soon after. Ken Griffey and his son Matt bought the factory again and established Bear & Son Cutlery.

Bear & Son produces a variety of knives such as classic folders with stag bone handles, Bowie blades, and butterfly knives. Griffey and his team consider knife-making a dying art, and are determined to keep the legacy of quality, homegrown craftsmanship alive. Almost all of their knives are made by hand in U.S.A.

Not Covered - Knives that are misused, abused or rusted.

Original owner of the product pays $8.00 for return shipping and Handling. Enclose a letter stating what is wrong with the product and the return shipping address. Please note that Automatics must ship by UPS or Fedex. Bear and Son, Inc. reserves the right to replace any knife with one of equal value at time of purchase of the product. Any knife that was not registered at the time of purchase with Bear and Son, Inc. will need a copy of the receipt of purchase.
