The Boker family got their start with toolmaking in 17th century Germany. In 1829, brothers Hermann and Robert Boker began producing sabres, and almost overnight their business exploded. Over the next few decades, they expanded production to a few key locations in North America.
World War II brought total destruction to Boker’s facilities—but it did not take long for the brand to rebuild and get back on its feet. Today, Boker is known for a great selection of knives with the Kalashnikov being the most popular.
