The CRKT H.U.G. knife, or Haligan's Ultimate Gadget, is an Ed Halligan design. This knife is a two-piece design like the popular K.I.S.S., but with a frame-lock handle and a little added sophistication. The blade has a single-side grind that seals against the frame and a thumb stud for easy opening. The handle uses a single Zytel scale for better handling and also helps prevent the blade from accidental opening.
