4Sevens is a fairly new name in the flashlight industry, but they have quickly become one of the most admired and respected manufacturers around. 4Sevens' success can be attributed to their fascination with LED technology and its application to quality flashlights, as evidenced by their stellar product lines.
The Quark 1232 Tactical has a simple user interface that allows you to program a primary and secondary output from the five regulated output levels and three flash modes. Only two modes are usable until reprogrammed by the user. The push button (with momentary on) and twist bezel allow you to quickly use your two programed modes. The 4Sevens Quark 1232 R5's highest output is 230 lumens and the lowest output level, the moonlight mode, is rated for over 30 days of continuous output at 0.2 lumen! The Quark has a T-6061 aluminum body with a Type III hard anodized finish and a generous amount knurling for grip. The impact-resistant glass lens is dual coated; sapphire coating on the outside and anti-reflective coating on the inside. The Quark 123-2 is a superb flashlight for a wide range of uses.
