great flipper

This bali is well balanced and flips great! The G-10 tang cups do get banged up after time which will eventually make the handles touch and the latch to not work properly. It's a beater knife for me and for the price these issues are not a big deal. I still flip it everyday and love it.

Just got this knife and flips great. Very sharp out of the box. Currently bleeding while typing this.
Great flipper!

I got this knife a couple of days ago and man it's sweet, the g10 handles are very comfortable and it flips great! I'm used to flipping heavier knifes (like my benchmade 67) and I was worried I wouldn't be able to flip this as good but I can very easily. I do notice while flipping the g10 will chew up your hands just a bit but it doesn't bother me and the biggest concern I had with buying it was how much blade play it would have and there is barely any, i haven't lock tighted it yet and I have no problems flipping this thing hard. Great knife to add to your collection!
Awesome flipper

Got it in the mail today and it flips almost as good as my benchmade 51, definitely worth a buy
don't buy

This is not worth the money at all. Have not had it a week and the tang cups wore to the point where the latch doesn't work. It flips ok, I guess but probably same as $20 one. It came dull, but the grind wasn't terrible and I was able to sharpen it with several swipes on a ceramic rod, I won't waist my time using my apex on it though. Everything is loose on it, I put lock tight on one handle, but could not do the other one because you need 2 torx bits the same size, STUPID! I'll prob get a couple of benchmade ones, but for cheap knives I'm going to the China knock offs way better quality. This was my only bear ops purchase and is absolutely my last.
Could be better.

First off, this knife is big. Not only are the handles really long, but they are also really thick. This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are but I don't personally like it. Also, the pattern ground into the G10 is really rough and grips very well. If you were using this as a tool this would be fine but i bought this to flip and doing rollovers the material chews into my hand and makes the skin raw. After a few days of regular flipping the latch has already come loose and will not stay closed. The handles also clack together because of how little space the tang pins give in between the handles now. Despite this it is a very smooth knife and the large size and decent weight make it easily controllable for a beginner, but I wouldn't recommend it just for the problems I've had with it. The 400 series from Bear OPS would be a much better choice in my opinion as it's around the same price, more sturdy, about the same size/weight, comes in more styles and has a nice finish on the handles that won't make your hands raw.
I have had it for 4 years

Best beginner bali on the market, would give it more stars but I can only give it 5.
