First off, I just want to recognize the customer service team at Blade HQ. They dealt with a couple of issues that I had on two different occasions extremely well. If you're on the fence about ordering from here, make no mistake, you've come to a great website with an equally great customer service department. They genuinely want you to be happy throughout the purchasing process, and that means afterwards as well. They do what it takes to make you satisfied. "Satisfaction guaranteed" isn't just a gimmicky phrase with this company.

Anyways, this is a beautiful, highly functional and capable knife. I really like S30V steel, especially in a Bushcraft/Survival knife. The corrosion resistance is awesome. The blade is not matte, or bead blasted like many outdoors knives are. Rather, it's a nice shiny stainless steel. The edge comes razor sharp from Benchmade and it has a nice spine that you can use for purposes such as striking a ferro rod, etc. Anyways, if you are considering this knife, you should look for the video from Benchmade on this knife. They show one of their bladesmiths literally TRYING to break the blade by doing all sorts of stuff to it that nobody would ever have to do in the wild. However, it's nice seeing that the knife can stand up to such things.
Best fixed blade I've ever owned!

I got this for the main purpose of it being the only tool (besides an axe) I take out in the woods. It has never let me down in the 2 years ive owned it. I got a Patriot Leather sheath and it never leaves my side. Perfect size, weight, everything about it is perfect.
Well thought out great size

If I could only have one knife in the woods this would be it. This came sharp as hell.
