The Mini Griptilian features textured black handle with stainless steel liners (which is very strong and very lightweight). Double 410 stainless liners add strength to the knife handle. The hollow ground blade is 154-CM stainless (plain edge) with BK1 black coating. The pocket clip can be reversed for right or left handed people. The AXIS lock system makes the knife easy to open and easy to close (it operates identically for right and left handers).

Absolutely Amazing
BigMike M.
After reading the other review on this knife I felt like I had to say something. This knife is awesome. It was the first benchmade I ever bought. I wear a size 2XL glove and although this knife is small it works well with my big hands. It's nice and lightweight. It also came shaving sharp from the factory. This is one of my favorite edc knives!

I should also add the one thing I disliked about this knife. It's really not a big deal but due to the black finish on the blade I noticed that scratches seem to appear easily on the blade. After a while it starts to looks cool though. Adds a little "one of a kind" look to your knife.
I have had sharper butter knives.

I cannot believe I paid over $100 for this piece of steel. I live in Oregon and try to support local companies, but this is a joke. Obviously zero quality control. A knife that cannot cut a piece of paper coming from the factory is not a knife. It is nothing more than a piece of steel. Could not even cut a tiny starter branch on a small plant. Got a good laugh on the farm anyway. Might as well pay half the price for Japanese knives. At least they can cut.
