Good concept, flawed execution

First of all, I own the urban survival pen knife and loved it as it was, but the recurve tanto blade shape really rendered the urban survival limited in terms of utility so I had a hard time justify its rule in my EDC system. When Boker announced this model I was really hyped. But after I received mine recently I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. I have no complain about the quality of the fit'n finish, but purely about the design. The blade stock with double sided full flat grind is too thick for its width, causing the bevel angle being too steep. Considering you don't have too much of a blade to work with, this thing really don't perform cuts that well. The stylus tip is cheaply made and won't last you long. Considering the extra price that comes with it, I really can't say I'm happy about this product.

Overall I still dig the idea but major improvements have to be made. Boker should consider make the blade chisel grind to further cut down its bevel angle to help this little thing cuts better, and really upgrade the stylus tip to a better quality level.
