The Delegate series utilizes CRKT's OutBurst® assisted opening technology in tandem with the patent-pending Fire Safe™ pin release mechanism which is built into the thumb stud to prevent unintended engagement. To open the blade, simply press in on the Fire Safe thumb stud, and rotate it forward to begin blade opening. Once the blade is open approximately 30 degrees, the OutBurst assist takes over and instantly completes the opening action. This one-handed opening is a fast, single movement of the thumb.
The Delegate™ EDC 1055 is a larger Delegate model with a satin finished 8Cr14MoV stainless steel drop point blade. The handle features black anodized 6061 aluminum bolsters with white bone scales over a sturdy InterFrame with stainless steel liners. The Delegate EDC features a high-mounted stainless steel pocket clip.
