Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 21 Knife w/ Snakewood Inlay (3.625" Plain)
This Large Sebenza 21 came from a collector. It is in used condition with scratches on the pocket clip and light scratches on the handle for being carried. The blade has been resharpened, but otherwise looks great. Comes with the original box and paperwork, dated September 8, 2011. Pictures above are of the actual knife for sale.
Bridging the gap between hi-tech titanium and the organic feel of natural material is the Sebenza 21 with inlay. This knife features real Snakewood inlays, each piece fits exactly into three pockets machined into the handle—two on the front and one on the back.
The fit of the inlay into the pocket is made to extremely tight tolerance and the sections are retained with VHB™ (very high bonding) double sided tape. The inlays give a contoured feel to the handle and are as attractive as they are functional.
This Large Sebenza model features a drop point S35VN stainless blade with a partial stonewash finish. The polished 6A14V titanium handles enhance the Snakewood inlays. A polished gold thumb lug and spacer are chosen to coordinate with the color of the inlay. Frame lock and pocket clip are bead blast finished titanium (tip-up) with lanyard.
