Description

Description

Slim, everyday carry comfort is coupled with a slick, stylish look in the Morrf 2 flipper. This knife was designed by Evg Muan and is produced by CKF. It has a full-flat ground S35VN steel blade with smooth ball-bearing action. The handle has barrel spacers between the sculpted carbon fiber and titanium handle slabs. Notable on the Morrf knife is the fitment and style of the pocket clip, it's an aesthetic touch that adds an extra wow factor to this excellent folder.

Providing limited, premium knives is the Custom Knife Factory's way of business. Located in Russia, CKF makes some of the highest quality knives in the industry.

Great Value - Terrible Edge

Great ergo, materials, fit, weight, blade size, action, etc. While this knife deserves 5 stars for being such a good value, I'm gonna ding everything here on out for having SUCH a bad edge out-of-the-box.
This knife's edge was totally unacceptable upon receipt. Now, every knife I have ever purchased has needed a re-profile, but I'd expect a "hand-finished" knife at this price point to come with an edge that was a little more in line with where is needs to be.
My edge was uneven, not centered, had about a 30+ degree(at least!) edge bevel on one side, and about a 25+ degree(at least!) angle on the other side. Not only was this angle terribly obtuse, it was off-center and dull.
TWO DAYS of reprofiling and sharpening later, and the edge is usable, albeit not quite centered, yet. It will come into line with future sharpenings - I couldn't bring myself to remove that much metal for its first sharpening - it's already lost way too much for being brand new!!
SO, COME ON!! WILL YOU PLEASE AT LEAST GIVE YOUR KNIVES SOMETHING CLOSER TO A 20-DEGREE EDGE???

Edit: I should say, however, that I'd purchase this knife again; the bad edge notwithstanding, and I do plan to purchase another CKF knife in the near future.
