First expensive bali, worth it
Jack K.
In other reviews by other people this has been compared to a FlyTi51 or somewhere in between a BM51 and a Basilisk. I haven't flipped either 51 or the basilisk but this is absolutely amazing! My other bali is a $15 one (with a trainer blade) and I never could have imagined how much of a step up this really is. I have had it for about 20 minutes so far and it is amazing! My only complaint is that the latch isn't spring, but so far it hasn't gotten in the way.

This knife has a rounded back edge of the blade, which I haven't seen noted in other reviews, and the color is a little different from the picture. The handles are a little darker grey and the blade is like the picture. Its kind of funny because I was going to try and anodize the handles to be darker :D.

Overall I really recommend this knife for the price and I really couldn't be happier with it. (I guess I would be happier if it were free)

For the price this is a great balisong. Excellent details and quality finishing work on the DB3.1, very pleased. The larger pivot hardware and blade steel upgrade are a plus. This knife flips very well despite its slightly smaller size and is an excellent edc bali. I feel like this bali is picking a fight with the BM51 and kicking its A**. The only thing I suggest is to take a small grind disc on a drill and turn the latch head into more of a T shape. The round latch head dents with time and catches in the handles leaving for a hang up while flipping. This is completely eliminated if you turn the round head into a T style latch. Excellent product and I recommend.
