The Fenix PD31 is similar to the PD30, just 2 mm longer and 2.5 mm larger in diameter but with 304 lumens from either two CR123A batteries or one 18650 battery. This high-tech, rugged flashlight was built for extreme use. The PD31 uses an XP-G R5 LED and features six levels of output. The tail cap switch turns the light on and off and a soft press switches brightness levels while twisting the bezel changes modes from General to Turbo and back.
The PD31 has an aircraft-grade aluminum body with a Type III hard coat anodized finish. The handle has an anti-roll design that is also able to stand on a flat surface for use as a candle. Like other Fenix flashlights the PD series has an ultra-clear glass lens with an anti-reflective coating, reverse polarity protection so you don't fry the circuit, and digitally regulated output for constant brightness. ANSI/NEMA FL1 standards.
