This knife is the nicest production knife I currently have. The ball bearing system just floats along like its on glass . detent was a little strong at first but after about 300 deployments it is perfect. also the balance is wonderful leaving the balance point at the first finger groove where the index finger goes creating a very light in hand feeling. Machining and fit and finish is one of the best. Possibly midtech levels of refinement. Very impressed and well worth the money for a totally made in usa knife. Also the blade shape is very unique and the compound grind is actually useful . the front portion of the blade (hollow grind) I use for slicing and opening packages and the rear portion (flat grind) I use to break down cardboard etc.
