Description

Description

Hom Design's Specter Evo is a premium balisong knife that combines attributes of the popular Tempest and Basilisk balisong knives.

The Specter Evo has a acid wash/satin two-tone finished Elmax steel blade for cutting performance akin to your favorite everyday carry folder. Titanium handles on the Specter feature "Butterfly Closure" slots. The handles on this Specter Evo are purple and gold anodized with satin finished faces. Includes titanium spacers, latch (removable), and pocket clip. The Specter utilizes Hom Design Precision Bushing System with phosphor bronze washers for exceptional flipping performance.

Handles on the Specter Evo are anodized and will appear to discolor upon contact with finger oils. To restore your Evo to a vibrant color, simply wipe with Windex or a comparable cleaner. Due to the type of surface finishes on the Evo, there may be light surface scratches that appear to be more visible. The blade has been treated with an acid-washed finish and will transfer some color when in contact.

I love this knife so much, I can't find a single thing wrong with it, and I'm a pretty critical person.

After replacing the titanium spacers with steel ones, it flips even BETTER, if that's possible.

The only other thing I will do to the knife is probably get a harpoon grind on it, just to make the weight a bit more handle biased. This is all personal preference and has come after many hours of flipping and careful comparison to my other knives.

You want this knife. It's one of the top 5.
