This knife is mechanically magnificent. The best folder I have ever owned and I'm never taking it out of my pocket until they hang me. Solid, ergo heaven, shaving feakin' sharp, I mean razor sharp, perfect opening with flipper or ambi thumb studs, amazing knife. Steel is the fantastic VG10 which is the number one steel for high-end Japanese cutlery. I mean big bucks. The G stands for Gold, indicating their highest rating for steel, and cutlery is a huge industry in Japan. One small flaw- the satin finish on the blade had an irregularity in the polishing, not just minor but bad enough to notice when I first flipped the blade open. I don't care, since I am planning to use this EDC and beat on it some. In a month it will probably look a lot worse than just this tiny blemish. And for $94 including shipping that I paid, I feel as if I have zero to complain about. This knife is worth 2-3-4 times what I paid for it and Blade HQ ain't gettin' it back. Love it and will never need another EDC knife unless I lose it. Thanks, Blade HQ for the great product, great service, and great price.
