It operates on one standard AA battery and provides many hours of ultra-bright light (100 lumens) thanks to its microprocessor-operated Smart Light Technology. It has three modes of output (high, low & strobe) that are accessible through its tail cap switch. The M5 features the Advanced Focus System (AFS), which is the patented technology that combines a reflector
