The Kovda is a fine handcrafted fixed blade from Olamic Cutlery. Its full-tang high carbon vanadium Damascus trailing point blade has an upswept tip and swedge. The handle is fitted with rounded carbon fiber scales, offering a sleek aesthetic and a comfortable grip. Includes a leather sheath with belt loop and dangler attachment.
Olamic Cutlery was founded in 2010 by Eugene Solomonik and his father. The knives are handmade in a small shop in Russia. The four craftmen are trained specifically in their respective areas: blade forging and shaping; heat treatment and acid etching; final assembly and handle work. Olamic Cutlery use a proprietary and proven four steel mix (O1 base) to make their High Carbon Vanadium Damascus (HCVD).
