The District 9 model from Reate Knives is an excellent flipper with a ball-bearing pivot and solid feel in hand. It has tumbled titanium frame lock and milled front handle slab. The matte anodized pocket clip and backspacer really add a nice touch. This D9-B model has a tanto blade in S35VN steel with a stonewash finish.

Superb Quality!!
Nathan B.
This is my first knife review and I have a nice collection of knives.

This knife is worthy of all the positive reviews I have read on social media. The fit and finish are superb, the materials are superb, the blade design and sharpness are superb!!

I waited about a yr for this knife to become available on Blade HQ, because I wanted the 3d clip design. Other retailers sell this knife but with a spring clip. As soon as I purchased they were out of stock Again!

These aren't mass produced knives and it's evident the second you see and handle one.

Purchase the minute these are back in stock and be grateful.

Best Knife for the Price!

You really cannot beat the quality of this knife, for the price. Flawless finish, awesome flipping and closing action on bearings, titanium slabs with an awesome anodized/stonewashed finish. Its more purple in person than in picture. Oh and super sharp
Outstanding Production Blade 2 Price Point

Overall Rating 8/10

Materials > top notch > 6AL4V titanium scales and clip , S35VN blade steel, ceramic caged bearings and detent, hardened hardware

Fit > 8/10 overall rating > dead centered, no play, rock solid pivot, 35% lock-up otb, 7/10 smooth action, medium-strong detent, 7/10 backspace fitting

Finish 7/10 overall rating > 8/10 cnc of scales, 6/10 overall anodizing (multiple inconsistent spots), 9/10 blade stonewash, note: the show side did have 3 light scratches otb

I bought the A and the B versions for my collection and would have to say I favor the B Tanto. These blades represent excellent value and all the reviews I've watched on YT did not lead me wrong. Another thing to note is that both came with the same gold anodized sculpted clip, so if you order the same models from other online retailers, be sure to check out which clip is included because there are versions out there that have titanium spring clips as opposed to the sculpted ones that came with mine from BladeHQ. Amazing quality

The quality of this knife is on par if not above the quality of some of the American made Knives selling for double what this one costs..this is my favorite knife I own now, above my zt's, Protechs and many more. Simply put, for the materials and quality you are getting in this knife for $200, you just can't get here in the US for anywhere near the price of this knife. You will pay almost double. You are getting American steel, titanium and workmanship and for a excellent price. Don't hesitate to buy this knife just because of where it's made, it is the best knife coming from China by far, they know what they are doing. The action is superb and extremely smooth, I can deploy this faster and harder than any auto of mine.
Amazing knife.

This knife has amazing action. Flips open with no effort at all. It's actually harder to have it not flip open then it is to shoot it out like a damn automatic. My only complaint would be how the stop pin doesn't sit nicely in the handle.
