Description

Description

We've been anticipating the release of the Horizon-C and now that it's here we can't speak highly enough. It is a stellar addition to the Reate Knives lineup with clean lines and amazing build quality.

The Horizon-C has a flat ground, S35VN stainless steel drop point blade that rides on a multi-row ball bearing assembly. The black, stonewashed titanium framelock handle has gold anodized titanium standoffs and pocket clip. Hardware is new, custom made for Reate. Includes a replacement steel insert for the lock bar and pivot washers.

Absolutely love my first of soon to be several ReAte. The fit and finish are top tier and flipping action oh yeah smokin not too mention bank vault solid. The only issue I have is the same as every other review the detent when trying to close knife can be tricky minor though it's still one my favorite don't wait buy one its a sure thing what else offers that
Top shelf product

Really nice knife! If you looked up the definition of perfection a picture of David Deng holding his cutlery creations would appear. Fit and finish are tip top and the flipping action is oh so nice. It is built for larger hands but wielding this knife should be a walk in the park for most. So get that reate out of your wish list and into your cart, because you be crazy not to.
I wanted to love it

I had been hearing good things about Reate and decided to give one a try. I was looking for another knife to rotate into my edc but this won't be it. It is too big too heavy and the blade is a pain to close with one hand. It gets stuck right after released and if you try to give it a wiggle to release it it locks back up in the open position. The good news is this happens because it opens super smooth. The pocket clip on this knife is inadequate for the weight of the knife. It would be really easy to have the knife fall out. The build quality is solid but at too high a cost for everything else. I will end up throwing this in a camp bag or tool box. When I want to carry a big knife I'd rather take my paramilitary 2. I would have given it 3 stars if it was cheaper but for the cost it's a 2 star. Looks cool though

This knife has it all for the price. Flipper is fast and smooth. Not an overbuilt knife but is a very very well built knife that is solid in every area. Nothing to cry about on this knife its like a custom but without the big price. Get one if you can. I can easily say I should have ordered 2 or more of these. Great design and nice looking knife also. Considering the price I give it a 10 our of 10.
