The Southard Performance Series Tolk folder is a low-volume production knife with Brad's personal touch to ensure the quality of each knife.

This Tolk knife has a two-tone satin/stonewash finished Carpenter CTS-XHP steel blade with flipper opener and thumb studs. A ball bearing pivot adds to the refined feel, and smooth action is a standard feature. Its titanium handle is bead blast finished and outfitted with a matching pocket clip and blue anodized thumb studs, barrel standoffs, and Hinderer lockbar stabilizer. Destined to remain a favorite, the Tolk is a must-have knife.

Pretty nice knife
Ted W.
Purchased this knife and like it, but certainly did not have the "wow" factor that I expected. Beautifully built and machined, larger than I thought. Purposely light (titanium scales are machined to lighted knife), smooth action.

The problem for me is when I got the Spyderco Southard, I was overly impressed and just loved it. That's why I got the Tolk. But the Tolk really doesn't overly impress me. Maybe if it was a little smaller, and more functional. I think the size hurts the ergonomics.
Best Midtech on the market!

Brad was learning the ropes of midtechs with the Avo, but he has really refined it with the Tolk. The action is perfect and stupid smooth. The fit and finish is just unreal for a midtech. The blade has a beautiful two tone satin and stonewash. The blade shape is perfect for various utility and I use mine for food prep a lot. Stop reading and buy one!
Love this knife.

I've always wanted a "real" Southard knife and this will probably be about as close as I'll ever get.

Great action, ergonomics, materials...everything is excellent.
I love how much blade he packs into his handles and how well the geometry of his blades work. It fits my hand well and has a solid feel.

This one has been in my pocket since purchase and has served well.
All in all, if you're going to blow 4-500 on a knife it will be well spent on this one.
