The Kershaw Turbulence

Tim Galyean did a great job on making this Kershaw Turbulence. I like that it has the blade stop and not a stop pin like on some other Kershaw designs. The dual thumb studs and the built in flipper just makes it nice for quick spring-assisted action. It has a three position pocket clip that makes it nice for a tip up and a tip down carry. I also like the bead blasted pocket clip which makes it nice to match the hardware. However, I wish they made the pocket clip a little more of a normal size. I like that this spring assist is made in USA with a stonewashed Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade. I believe the blade steel is made in Sweden which is a plus. The look up is solid and it doesn’t have much play—which is always a good thing. I would like some gimping on the spine of the blade for better blade control. Otherwise this is a cool and convenient EDC pocket knife. The fit and finish of this knife mirror that of higher price knives. My overall opinion is that the Kershaw Turbulence is a very nice blade, very functional and worth the price. Grindworx.com is selling the Turbulence for only $47.99!
