SHOT Show 2017 | 5 New Knives from ZT

Zero Tolerance came out swinging this year, introducing 5 new models at SHOT Show 2017! GTC, Sinkevich, Rexford, and George have their hands all over this new lineup. Let’s get right into it.

Zero Tolerance 0801TI | SHOT Show 2017

The Zero Tolerance 0801 has an entirely updated look. The original Todd Rexford design has been rebooted with a new handle treatment. The blade shape remains the same, but the old fluted handles are out. Now the 0801TI has 3D-machined titanium handles. The blade is an efficient drop point made of S35VN stainless steel with an attractive stonewashed finish.

Zero Tolerance 0920 | SHOT Show 2017

Based on Les George’s Harpy, the 0920‘s design is practical, functional, and extremely clean. One thing it isn’t though, is small. A 3.9″ blade is quite a chunk of CPM 20CV. If you are a small knife person, you might want to move on.

Zero Tolerance 0850 | SHOT Show 2017

The Zero Tolerance 0850 is an exciting Dmitry Sinkevich/Todd Rexford collaboration based on a spectacular custom piece the two knifemakers built together last year. The blade is CPM 20CV stainless steel with a two-tone, stonewash-and-satin finish. The 0850 opens manually using a decorative aluminum thumb stud with a clear anodize. The thumb stud is echoed by the unique aluminum backspacer that has been turned and sculpted, then clear anodized.

Zero Tolerance 0460 | SHOT Show 2017

The ZT 0460 was designed to be a little more Sinkevich. Falling somewhere in between the 0450 and 0452 size-wise, this new ZT folder looks a bit more like a close cousin.  The blade steel is S35VN for enhanced toughness and resistance to edge chipping with no loss of wear resistance.

Zero Tolerance 0055 | SHOT Show 2017

Last, but far from least we have the ZT 0055. The 0055 is unlike anything you’ve ever seen—unless you’ve seen the exciting Airborne folder by Gus T. Cecchini of GTC Knives. The knife features Gus’ SLT hidden flipper tab, which is both practical and futuristic. The action is similar to a two-stage rifle trigger and is completely addicting. Check it out in action here:
