The Utilitac II combines the functional, aesthetically pleasing design of Joe Pardue with the manufacturing ability of Ontario Knives to create a knife that is economically priced. The JPT-4S Tanto knife has a satin finished AUS-8A stainless steel blade with a plain cutting edge. The square end handle has ideal finger grooves and notching on the handle-to-blade spine, creating a subtle but effective thumb ramp. The strong and lightweight zytel handle scales sit atop a steel liner lock frame. One thing that stands out is the well-designed index finger groove, with one handle side offset so that the liner lock release tab is easy to disengage with gloves on. The Utilitac II comes with a black finished 4-way reversible pocket clip.
