Burr Oak Knives First Responder Flipper #3 Knife LSCF/Mokume (3.5" Damascus)

The First Responder Flipper #3 is a great offering from Burr Oak Knives. It features a 4 Bar Twist Damascus steel clip point blade with a flipper opener. The handle has lightning strike carbon fiber scales and Mokume bolsters over titanium liners, with lock tab. The steel back spacer is filed, along with the liners and blade spine. This knife comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, dated 2/29/15.

Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his knack for knife-making in 1987 when he created his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
