i usually by high end knives that cost so much that its hard to justify carrying them everyday when you eventually end up loosing them. i decided to give this one a try and i am very impressed with the quality, weight and action of it. the only thing im not 100% satisfied with is how shrarp the knife is. other then that id recommend it.
I was so excited to get the knife and the moment I got it I couldn’t wait to use it. I pushed the slide forward and realized how hard it was to do so and when the blade came out it wasn’t a violent snap up it wad a weak pop up which didn’t even lock it. Sadly if you open it with the blade pointing upwards it doesn’t lock and you have to manually lock it into position and the slide is very difficult to use. I opened and closed it about 20 times and my thumb is exhausted and nearly raw, the slide is just rough and jagged and extremely hard to push forward and pull back. When the action does work it is cool but just disappointing for a 70$ knife.
Was surprised how solid the knife was for the price, the sliding action was a bit rough, near impossible to close with one thumb. All overlookable cause was just gonna be a novelty knife. Until day 2, I opened the knife for the last time. One of the metal catches, attached to the end of spring snapped. Was hoping to get more than 30 opens, but you get what you pay for
