The AKC F-20 is a lightweight, mid-size OTF automatic knife from the Italian company AKC. These knives are made from aluminum with a sandpaper inlay for grip. The dual-action thumb slide has jimping for texture. The firing action is satisfying and powerful! This is a lot of knife for the price!
Based in Maniago, the knife capital of Italy, AKC crafts excellent automatic knives. Take a look at the rest of our selection!
I bought this knife about three months back, my first OTF knife and I was stoked when it came in. I'll start with the only thing I don't like about this knife: the screws are stripped, but that doesn't matter much to me since I don't take my knives apart (yet). If you do, I can't recommend it, but that's the only negative I have about it. The positives are that I could not take my finger off the switch for about a week. That being said, the actual blade is quite nice. It came sharp, but I sharpened it anyways. It holds an edge pretty well, I haven't needed to sharpen it since. I've been using it as my main pocket knife because there's definitely a cool factor about pulling out a switchblade to do some mundane task like cutting off labels from clothes or cutting the film off of meat. The paint rubs off with other things in my pocket, but that's to be expected. The way the wear looks on the blade's paint and on the handle looks super cool as well, it doesn't look trashy or cheap at all, more battle scarred than anything. AKC really did a good job with this knife and I will absolutely be buying their knives again.
