Best of both worlds

I love this knife. This very one allows for S35VN but with the lesser expensive handle design (carbon is a nice extra). I'm not a fan of the more complex design going up market. So I got the best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned. To be clear I'd like to have M390, but I have only one knife with that steel and it's too nice (expensive) to use to actually cut things. I have several S35VN knives but this is the only one that came usably sharp out of the box. I use this knife a lot and after a few days in the drawer it's always a bit surprising just how long the blade is. Surprises onlookers too. I'm extremely happy with this knife. And as always with BHQ for the usual excellent service.
