Bark River JX4 Bush Bat Fixed Blade Knife Burgundy Canvas Micarta (3.5" Satin)

The Bark River JX4 Bush Bat fixed blade knife with burgundy canvas micarta handle and wharncliffe blade is sure to be an excellent addition to your outdoor gear.

The Bush Bat is a collaborative design from custom knife maker Shane Wink, outdoor expert Chris Tanner, and Mike Stewart. They combined the tactical capabilities of a karambit with the functionality of a skinning knife. The sweeping wharncliffe blade is fantastic for skinning but will also excel with light to medium cutting tasks. Fire or food prep, game processing even carving is a breeze with the convex edge scandi grind. The uniquely shaped micarta handle helps elevates the fingers above the cutting edge for comfortable use. Included is a hand made leather neck sheath that holds the blade securely in place with rare earth magnets.

  • CPM-154 blade steel has been perfectly hardened for exceptional edge retention.
  • Canvas micarta handle provides a comfortable and secure grip.
  • Easy carry with the included deluxe leather sheath.

This is FIRE

Great blade shape and a super slicey edge. I used this to cut through vinyl flooring material and it went through like butter. Not exactly an outdoor user, but it is comfy enough to be used for whittling or what not.

Pretty sweet

Just got it today. First impressions are awesome. Really well balanced not quite shaving sharp but it's not really that kind of knife. Minor imperfections like the little notch at the end of the cutting edge is uneven. Also some sharp edges that at this price point should be smooth. Other than that it feels like it wants to work.
