Great Intermediate Knife!
Brandon B.
I purchased this knife as my first live-blade butterfly knife. I was looking for something that came with a trainer blade just incase I wanted to throw it on when learning a difficult trick. Luckily this knife had that. Out of the box, it does not come very sharp, but still sharp enough to cut you. The overall build quality is great. It feels great in the hands and the play isn't horrible after I had dropped it a few times. I do like the black textured coating on this knife. It adds an extra layer of grip which reassures you it will stall under your control. Another positive to the coating is that it helps reduce scratching when dropped. The only real negative I have to say is about the latch. Even when I hadn't dropped it, the latch felt like it was coming more and more loose with every session. This isn't a deal breaker as it can be tightened. Overall, this is a great knife for the price!
