Extremely sharp straight out of the box. The handle is probably a little bit too smooth, but the shape allows for a good solid grip so your hand won't slip. Sheath has a firm hold on the knife and it's not falling out. It slides out nicely. Overall a great add to anyone's collection.
A MUST HAVE!

This knife is just excellent. Super high quality and great design. The blade has an awesome unique design and is EXTREMELY SHARP, I cut myself 2 times within 2 hours of getting it. Be careful.

The handle and G-10 scales are great and fits the hand perfectly. Just wish there was a little more texture to it but it's not that big of a problem.
I also wish they would have put some jimping near the top of the handle where the thumb rests, but since the handle is greatly contoured that is also not a big deal.

Now the sheath is nice too. I like there slots for the Malice straps but I wish there was room to put a Tek Lok on in the middle. Since the malice slots take up the whole middle of the back I'd have to put the tek lock on the side which would make it stick out a lot and not balanced, but again that's not a big deal. The malice strap works well for a belt loop.

Overall this is a superb high quality knife. I love it and glad I finally bought it. Now I will be buying the serrated version as soon as it's in stock.
