Description

The 530 Pardue is ultra-lightweight and very thin, you'll hardly even know it's in your pocket. The Noryl GTX 830 handle helps keep the knife's weight down but keeps it very durable. The AXIS lock, dual thumb studs and reversible pocket clip make the knife usable for right and left handers. The Pardue 530 features a satin finished 154-CM blade with a plain cutting edge.

This has been my main carry for almost two years now, I love the lightweight feel. The only downside is the stock clip leaves a lot out of the pocket but otherwise its a fantastic blade to carry and use.
FANTASTIC EDC, don't love the blade shape.

I purchased this knife to be a "summer carry" option, something I could carry in light shorts, gym shorts, and dress pants at work or when needed. For the past four years, the Benchmade 530 has excelled. It absolutely disappears in the pocket. Its so lightweight I don't feel it and it usually doesn't interfere with me reaching into my pocket for other items. Absolutely love it. As the title mentions, I don't love the blade shape. Full disclosure, I am not typically a fan of this blade shape because I don't think it is the most useful. I'm probably splitting hairs here because it gets the job done (all of them) but I purchased it with the intentions EDC task. If you intend to use it for self-defense it's probably a great blade shape. As you can imagine everything on this knife is kind of mini and if I had to suggest any improvements it would be to make the thumb stud larger or "grippier" its a little slick and to make the Axis lock stick out a little more. That's what I would do but the argument could be made that it would defeat the purpose of the low profile design. Hope this helps!
Great EDC

Donít really like the position of the axis lock. Thatís only reason I didnít give it 5 stars. This knife is so light you can carry it anywhere. Thin blade but handles plenty of tougher jobs. The blade is so sharp and thin, I think of it as a pocket razor.

This is the knife that got me looking into higher end pocket knives. Saw it in store just looking around and thought it was the coolest thing ever. A few months later with a new job, I finally got to buy it and it made me real happy. Super thin and light, blade shape might not be the best in some places, and there is some blade play if you wiggle it, but not in use. Can't say much more than that on it, I'll probably love it no matter what

A little sad to hear this knife is going to be discontinued. Itís super lightweight and is almost like a pocket razor. If you do get one though youll notice quickly itís only good for light tasks. Anything else is going to make your hand hurt.
Great knife!

I carry this when I have to dress up nice. It's a very slim clean knife, very smooth pivot with the axis lock. Hold a very mean edge and very easy to sharpen. It is a medium use knife because of the thin style but still functional for most daily tasks.

You can carry this knife in a pair of sweats or gym shorts if needed, with how slim and light weight it is. Love the blade profile. You aren't expecting much out of such a slim knife, then bam... this badass blade shoots out of nowhere. Very solid built knife. Had one and ended up giving it to my brother because of how much he enjoyed it. Went a year without it and realized i need another one so picked it up and glad i did. Action takes some time to break in but once it does it's smooth as butter.
