The do-it-all EDC

Bought this knife almost five months ago, my first Benchmade. Awesome workhorse, opens and closes smoothly. The lock up is solid. Its edge holds very well, although for me, it takes a little bit of patience to get it back to hair-popping sharp. From a tactical standpoint, it holds its own very well, I would not be afraid of using this blade to defend myself. The G10 handle isn't very rough, but its fine for me, and the thumb ramp and gimping on the steel liners are sharp and catch my thumb well. That knife isn't going anywhere. The clip could be a bit stronger, but I don't mind. Not too heavy of a blade at 4.38 oz. I love this knife a lot. It's not my favorite necessarily for edc, that blade would be Benchmade's Osborne 943BK. The 943 is light and just works perfect, besides tactical and very heavy, hard use. However, if I had to clear all knives but one from my table, the 908BK would be it. You will not regret getting this blade. BladeHQ has outstanding service, and they are now my #1 website for my knives and edc items. If your on the fence about getting your first Benchmade, or even whether or not to get this knife to add to your collection or to become a primary edc, I say go for it. -Ian
