This Mini Presidio II model sports a scaled down EDC design with a black CF-Elite™ handle and a black finished blade with a plain edge.
Benchmade has updated their legendary Presidio model with a smaller profile and significant ergonomic and performance upgrades. This combat legend has a black CF-Elite™ handle with Benchmade's AXIS lock system for effortless one-handed opening and closing. Molded grooves in the handle improve grip while adding a modern flair to the design. The Mini Presidio II offers a compact EDC design with all of the tactical applications of the original.Features:
This is a great benchmade edc that you can't go wrong with. I owned a mini griptilian and wanted a knife that is slightly bigger but can still be carried everyday without feeling like a burden. The mini presidio ii checks that box perfectly. The scales have great texture without being too rough on the hand or pocket, S30v is a great edc steel, the deep carry clip is a nice touch, and as always the axis lock mechanism is smooth and reliable (though I did loosen the pivot screw a tad to my liking). I love the way it looks and feels in my hand. 10/10 would recommend to pick up!
I already had a few Benchmades, but I was looking for a black class model. Something a little more reliable for some heavier duty tasks. And man this thing hits the spot. It's an overall smaller knife, but it packs a punch when it comes to performance and handling. The murdered out look works great. The CF-elite scales feel awesome and seem incredibly sturdy. An awesome tactical/EDC knife.
I love all things Benchmade (what knife person doesn’t?) and am constantly impressed by their offerings. That being said, I was even more extremely impressed by the Mini Presidio. This knife just wants to be used. It fits my large sized hands perfectly, opens with barely a motion and stays open until you don’t want it to be anymore…and thanks to the superb AXIS lock, it takes only a second to close (and keeps your fingers out of the way to do it.) The scales are rugged yet smooth enough to not chew your pocket to death. The steel is the (IMO) best EDC steel you can get, comes sharp as heck out of the box, and only takes a few passes on a sharpener to have a new razor…and stays that way for many, many uses. Finally, being a leftie, I am always struggling with pocket clips set for righties, a non-issue with this one, as you can flip it over easily. This has been my EDC for a few years now, and don’t see it migrating away from my pocket any time soon. As always, incredible service/delivery from BladeHQ makes ordering a joy.
Not so sure the edge is straight. Looks a little lopsided and toothy. Was expecting better. Other than that it's a great knife.
I was looking for something in between my first Benchmade(Griptilian-now retired) and the Mini Griptilian. I liked the handle material and look of this knife. We all know the true test is when you get it in hand. Perfect In between size I was looking for. Not a fan of coated blades but must say this was done right. Perfectly centered, decent factory edge, sharp but not razor sharp out of box( it is now *smiles*). Action was a bit tight out of box, and I hate they used the DLC titanium axis bar instead of the old school smooth as butter steel model. Just not the same. However it works well and looks good. Remember that it is best NOT to lubricate that titanium bar-runs better dry. All in all this one is a keeper and I'm bonding with it, been carrying it since it got here. Thanks again to BladeHQ for getting my new friend here quickly.
