i personally recommend this knife to everyone looking to get into knifes or looking to get someone a gift, still one of my favorites. great blade centering has always been perfect, stays sharp long, the axis lock is smooth, super grippy, and the thumb hole on this model makes it fun to play with overall it is a good strong knife
Love the size, love the ergonomics and blade shape. Great fidget factor and blade performance. Wish for more blade steels and handle combos, but just a great blade. Must have in everyone’s collection.
Great knife! Fits perfectly in the hand and quality materials! Very minimalist and discreet carry! Love the sheepsfoot style blade with the thumb hole! Very sharp out of the box!
I carried this knife throughout my second deployment in Iraq. Confidence is what you carry and when I’m in combat or at home I know my Benchmade won’t fail me.
I ordered this knife on a Friday afternoon, and received it on the following Monday. Extremely impressed with the service of blade hq, and extremely satisfied with the quality of the knife. First impression when I opened the box was wow. The packaging that benchmade has just goes to show only the best. The axis lock on the knife is extremely smooth, and very satisfying. I will most definitely purchase another Benchmade and it will be through Blade HQ!
Purchased this knife to get the Griptilian shop mat and I do like it quite a bit. I previously had the all black grip with D2 and wasn’t a fan. What makes this one for me is S30V is easy to sharpen and the hole instead of thumb stud is awesome. It has a little bit of lock rock but centering and action are great. All in all I’m quite happy with it, so much so I ordered some custom micarta scales for it!
I am little disappointed. My first Benchmade, I am so excited, can't wait to open the box. Great looking knife, feel good in my hand, blade very center, flip open so good and no play on the blade but that is where the problem start, I need to close my first Benchmade. The AXIS lock do not want to release the blade, after using force on the AXIS lock it released the blade. I try it over and over and the same problem. I thought Benchmade and Bladehq inspect the knives before they ship it to the customers.
