In only a few short years, Bill Coye has gone from new knife maker to one of the most in-demand makers in the business. The Ridgeback is the one that started it all and it isn't slowing down!

Blade HQ is pleased to present the exclusive Boker Ridgeback Elite. We took the standard Ridgeback and added premium deluxe contoured carbon fiber handles to give it a seriously wicked look and feel. The blade sports a "smokewash" finish that compliments the carbon fiber handles and really rounds out the whole design and feel of the knife. Almost feels like a full-on custom!

The Bill Coye designed Ridgeback is small enough for comfortable belt carry, but also large enough to have a regular, full handle and to provide the "adult man's hand" enough blade for heavier work. The Kydex sheath comes with a belt carry clip that can be used in different positions. A true all-rounder that can be used for many different tasks. The handles are milled carbon fiber with a smokewash finished 440C stainless steel clip point blade.

Nice little knife

Not as sharp out of the box as my other bokers have been. Sheath that comes with it is terrible. Buy the Linos if you're going to edc this. Fits great in hand. Comes in a nice display type box with foam cut outs.
Disappointed but Still Good

So despite the few flaws ill mention here this was a great knife. So the flaws I noticed first and foremost was the blade came super dull. I don't expect blades to come scalpel sharp out of the box but I do expect some bit of an edge. The only other issue I had was the sheath. The kydex is of fine quality but the belt mounting system was absolute garbage. It broke catastrophically just trying to mount it to the sheath. If you buy this knife for serious carry I highly recommend getting the Linos Kydex Sheath for it. Don't let this review drive you away though, once you put an edge on this knife and square away the sheath it is a phenomenal blade. I lost mine when I moved to Alaska and plan on buying another one, so its worth buying twice.

I ordered the smoked carbon fiber the first day it was released, I'd love one of Coyes handmade knives.. but this one will suit me for now.
The knife is Fantastic, I'd recommend it to everyone... the kydex sheath that's supplied from boker absolutely sucks.. go ahead and get the after market sheath.
