This Damascus bladed collector's knife is very special. The 98k is a way to carry a piece of world history in your pocket every day. The knife pays homage to the iconic German Mauser, the bolt action rifle wielded in two world wars by several nations. A sharp eye can detect little details, such as the diagonal grooves like the ones on the Mauser's bayonet, the little notch below the bolster like the cleaning rod tube in the rifle, and the local walnut wood scales, made from the same trees that became rifle stocks almost a century ago. The crowning feature of the 98k is the blade, made from old Mauser barrels forged into Damascus by Chad Nichols. Not only is this knife a piece of history, but it's a highly functional knife too!
