This Blade HQ exclusive Mini Kwaiken features a smokewashed blade and carbon fiber handle over stainless liners. With it's tactical-gentleman aesthetic and clean lines, the Kwaiken has set the new standard for what a modern gentleman's carry should be.

Based on Lucas Burnley's popular design, the Mini Kwaiken has the same build as the regular Kwaiken we're all familiar with, but in a more compact, EDC-friendly size. This model has a premium VG-10 steel blade and a carbon fiber handle with stainless steel liners. An IKBS ball bearing pivot is standard, along with exemplary action from the flipper opener, which features jimping. The tip-up carry clip is set into the scale, for a fine finished look.

Nice knife
Phillip F.
Good knife. Long thin blade. Good for EDC, but it wouldn't hold up to heavy work.
Aesthetically pleasing, Functionally lacking
Connor F.
With a hollow ground blade, I expected a much finer edge than what was actually delivered. The secondary edge bevel on this knife is absurdly thick, which I found had a serious negative impact on the every day utility of this knife. I performed a variety of cut tests that included printer paper, nylon 550 cord, several thicknesses of cardboard and tape. In every task, the Kawaiken consistently under performed, falling far behind other knives in it's price range, these being a Benchmade 940-2($170), a Cold Steel Voyager($70), and a USMC Ka-Bar($100). I found the Kawaiken's performance during these tests comparable to $8 and $10 Tac-Force and MTech knives. All in all, I am incredibly disappointed in this product and would not buy again.
Beautiful Knife, Great Office EDC
Paul A.
Great knife, perfect EDC for the office environment albeit a little thick in my opinion. Really happy with the fit and finish of this knife with one exception, it didn't come as sharp as I would have expected for $100 knife. Sure it would cut paper and shave hair with effort but compared to the Benchmade I purchased at the same time, it pales in comparison. Overall it's worth the money and I would buy again. Hopefully the sharpness of my knife was an exception. Thanks Blade HQ for your amazing service. You guys are the best!
An amazing EDC
Shan H.
The Böker Mini Kwaiken is simply amazing. Love the streamlined design. Fit, finish, and function are near perfect. Dare I say, this is just as good as the some of the higher end knives out there. VG-10 is a great steel, blackwash finish on the blade is nicely done, and the carbon fiber scales are beautiful. Overall, it's nice to see Boker produce another solid (compact) EDC. Buy it and you'll love it.
Great quality in a small package

The same superb build quality as the original, but with a slightly stronger detent and some jimping on the flipper that just makes this blade fly out! Boker does first-rate fit-and-finish on the Kwaiken line, and with the slim profile and carbon fiber scales, this is going to go great in a suit-coat pocket.
