The Boker Plus 054 is reminiscent of the Kalashnikov. It's a Jim Wagner design and sports an AUS 8 steel blade in a tanto style. The black aluminum handle has molded finger grips, and the overall aesthetic is elegant and comfortable.
In addition to this, the Boker Plus comes standard with a glass breaker, pocket clip and a pivot screw tool for easy adjustment.
The Boker Plus constitutes one extremely well-built, fast opening knife. The action is comparable to the Kalashnikov; a brilliantly solid construction!
Solid super sharp blade. Beautiful design. Only thing I dislike is that the handle feels like cheap plastic. Also wish it was a little heavier.
The tip of the blade broke off on mine pretty much right away. Seems like the blade should be a little thicker. I own two of the non auto versions (the black and the stainless) and they quite a bit bigger and heavier. That makes them a bit harder to carry everyday especially in business casual attire. This version is easy to carry no matter what you are wearing. I own several Kalashnikov and they carry pretty much the same but I have never broken a blade on those.
