The Boker M2 was designed by DJ Urbanovsky of American Kami design. This large outdoor knife is a synthesis of the Colubris and the M13 fixed blade. The Santoku blade shape increases the practicality and versatility of the cutting edge. It features black G-10 scales, with a milled logo for improved grip. The end of the tang protrudes beyond the scales, and can be used as a universal hammer. This model is equipped with a 440C stainless blade with stonewash finish and a Kydex sheath with belt clip for various carrying options.
I purchased this knife at close to a 75% discount during Blade HQ's recent free shipping weekend-great deal! It has a nice blade that is pretty sharp right out of the box. The handle is a little small. The included sheath is pretty bad. It is so tight that the knife cannot be inserted or removed without an excessive amount of force. None of my other knives with Kydex sheaths are even close to being as difficult to insert or remove.
