Description:
The Tenshi from Boker Knives is a slim and sleek EDC knife with far-eastern design. It was designed by Kansei Matsuno, a legendary designer who specializes in simple and minimal designs that perform well, look good, and are incredibly fidgety. The Tenshi has a trailing reverse tanto blade that draws the eye up, and puts the hand behind the edge when cutting against a table.
Boker Folding Knives have been finding their way into pockets all over the world for centuries. Get one for yourself and find out why!
This knife is cray cray sexy. I EDC it when going to restaurants and it slices any bone-out meat, or bone-in when avoiding the bone, like an angry brass dragon. This thing is so sharp, I made a slight mistake while closing it, on the day it arrived, and it paper-thin sliced the chunky lower part of my pointing finger. I consider that a pro, not a con -- just gotta pay close attention to the edge. The handle is grippy in a good way. This knife is very fun to show to people and explains tanto; blades to the uninformed. Highly recommended and Matsuno-san has a new fan of his designs. Not to mention the packaging from Boker is ace.
Absolutely gorgeous! Feels great in hand and it wants to slice and dice. Might not be great for peeps with big mitts, however. Love the styling of this blade the steel is perfect for its use and I will be getting it cross-drilled and etched to add a little more style and grip otherwise as is it is a masterpiece of Japanese functionality and style. Overall id highly recommends and as usual Blade HQ makes it so easy and quick gotta love it!
