The Bionic Flipper is a small, lightweight everyday carry knife from Jason Brous. It has a black Cerakote finished hollow ground D2 steel blade with a flipper. Action on the Bionic folder is solid and smooth with Brous Blades proprietary ball bearing pivot system. The handle is black anodized aluminum with a steel liner lock frame. With it's compact size, high utility and great looks, it's no surprise the Bionic is the EDC of choice for Jason Brous.
The Brous Blade Bionic Flipper is available in several different handle colors and blade finishes.
This knife is light weight and has a great grip. The flip is really fast and smooth. The fit and finish is flawless. The anodizing is top notch. I carry this knife every day. You will not be disapointed
This has very quickly become a repeated carry for me. The action is one of the smoothest I have had the pleasure of fiddling with. Just as smooth as a 200-300 dollar zt. As light as 940 but with a bit more exotic look. Even at this price I feel it is very worth it. The ball bearing pivot is extremely smooth and fast. Has no play in any way and blade centering is spot on . Again all this is due to Mr. Brous's genius. Granted it was not the sharpest knife out-the-box but the D2 sharpens to hair popping status in just minutes and stays that way for a long time. The anodized aluminium handles have a unique look and feel to them, and the jimping provides just enough traction combined with the finger guard to lock in into the hand. The ergos are 9.5/10 due to the smaller handle which leaves the pinky wanting more real estate. All in all this is truly a work of art mid tech. Buy it now you will not regret it.
