Great Defensive Blade
Hyun S.
This blade is perfect design for defensive blade in my opinion. The way it fits in the hand is that the butt of the knife sits against the palm. This gives the knife the advantage of a push dagger, and yet it angles in your grip so that you can still make effective cuts. Something that you can't do very well with traditional push knife.

It is also possible to crossdraw with the left hand with reverse grip in a pinch. When drawn with a reverse grip in this way the blade angles out like a karambit, and can be used in similar fashion.

The hole in the middle of the blade means that you get a good reference point for your grip when drawing your knife, and once drawn you'll have a solid grip that's very hard to break. And of course being a fixed blade knife the draw speed can not be matched by any folding knife. (Wave feature is close, but you still need to adjust the grip after the initial pull.)

The knife came with a horizontal out of the waist band carry clip, but my preferred method is vertical in the waist band carry. I was able to very easily fix this issue because the kydex sheath of this knife will take the standard soft loops I had. Now it carrys iwb, and due to its short but effect grip design it doesn't stick out during carry like other fixed blade might.

For edc role, it's not bad at all. As expected it isn't exactly a detail knife like an exacto knife and should not be relied on for that type of a task. Also being a short blade I wouldn't rely on it as a bushcraft/woods knife. It's solid and good cutter for harder urban cutting task that a utility knife might struggle with. It also had the easy one hand draw advantage, which could come in handy. I personally pair it off with a light utility blade as edc option.

Lastly the Acid Washed finish is really not as light as pictured here. It's less of gun metal grey and much closer to just black. It still looks very good and I have no complaints, but just be aware that the picture is not completely accurate.
