This model of the CIVIVI Baklash sports a black G-10 handle with carbon fiber inlays and a satin finished blade.
The CIVIVI brand is set on making excellent quality budget folders. The Baklash is a prime example of that model. It features a contoured and comfortable handle and skeletonized liners to help reduce weight without sacrificing structural integrity. It has a reversible deep-carry pocket clip for discreet everyday carry. If you are looking for a lightweight, budget folder with excellent flipping action, the Baklash is your knife!
Features:I'm very pleased with the quality of this knife. The blade has a super sharp edge, and it opens effortlessly. It's comfortable in the hand while open, and is hardly noticeable in the pocket. These knives are so addicting! Now I have to shop for another.
Out of my 20 or so pocket knives, this is easily my most used and loved. Civivi absolutely nailed the design and execution of the Baklash. The appearance is both classy and tactical. Deployment is extremely smooth and reliable. Ergonomically it fits my medium-large size hands perfectly, whether I'm holding the handle or choking up on the blade. A 3.5" blade is plenty large to get almost any cutting task done. The Baklash is lightweight for its size, with an excellent pocket clip that makes it disappear in your pocket. Even though I have knives that cost over $200, the Baklash finds its way into my hand and my pocket the most often. If I could only keep one knife, this would be it. 10/10.
Nice action and good weight. My first of this brand, impressed with quality.
I can't stop flipping this knife! The scales are not super aggressive, but provide enough grip to ensure it doesn't slip in the hand. After about 100 cycles and a little adjustment on the pivot screw, this thing opens and closes so smooth and easy. Really, it should cost 2-3x's what BladeHQ is charging. This definitely won't be my last Civivi!
