This Mastodon has a black twill carbon fiber overlay on a G-10 handle with a Damascus steel blade.
The CIVIVI Mastodon are burly folders modeled after classic meat cleavers, including the characteristic round hole near the tip. On the old school cleavers, that hole was there so you could hang the knife up, but you won't have to with the Mastodon thanks to the deep carry pocket clip.
