This model of the CIVIVI Pintail has a Cuibourtia wood handle with a Damascus blade.
The CIVIVI Pintail has many variations. Each is well executed with premium materials. The blade is made from Damascus steel in the drop point style. The Cuibourtia wood handle has a stainless steel, black liner. The liner lock is flush with the handle and easily accessible. Ambidextrous thumb studs make one-handed opening effortless for left handed or right handed dominant.
If you know what modern Damascus steel is, you will be very pleased with this knife. If you don't, you might do a bit of research beforehand to help you understand what to expect from this very nice material on this great pattern.

This Pintail is giving my Elementums a run for their money. Damascus blade, wood handle, great ergos, great fit & finish, perfect action, beautiful design, and functional blade shape. Its got everything for a very reasonable price. If I had to make a criticism, it would be that the damascus pattern is a little busy and could be toned down to better go with the wood grain pattern, though they did a good job with darkening the overall finish so it doesn't stand out as much as it could. But this one is gonna have a place in my pocket for a very long time. Love it.
Bought this knife thinking it would be made with real Damascus steel by it's just your run of the mill high carbon steel laser edged to look like a raindrop pattern Damascus please don't make the same mistake as me and buy this unless your okay with it being fake Damascus
