Description

Description

This Blade HQ Exclusive Centros model has a green canvas micarta handle with brass accents.

The CJRB Centros is a simple and elegant folding knife with a solid thumb stud action and a tough build quality to last a lifetime. It's got a flat ground spear point blade, with the thumb stud mostly out of the cutting path. One of the barrel spacers has a hole for a lanyard, and it slips discreetly into a pocket with a deep carry clip.

In general, I love the Centros. The blade shape is great, I like the length of the blade and they feel like quality pieces.

What I've noticed with this knife in particular is that they contoured the micarta scales (like they've done on their Feldspar and Ria). This actually makes the spine of the handle much thinner than the standard Centros that uses slabs of G10. For my larger hands, this makes the knife slightly less comfortable to use than the base model.

Still a great knife, I just don't believe it's an ergonomic upgrade over the original.

Rest assured, their micarta is good stuff. Decently textured and soft. Reminds me of a tweed jacket that a stereotypical college professor might wear.
