Guilty Pleasure

This blade is bigger than most of my knives but it's ergos are so good. Takes a little extra effort to flip due to the blade size/weight but the bearing system makes it smooth action. Overall a really fun, solid, utility blade.

Wonderful knife for $30

It's a fairly large knife, larger than it appears in pictures. However, it isn't overly big, and it feels REALLY good in hand. Ken Onion has earned his respect in the knife game, most of his designs are classics (Kershaw Blur, Leek, etc.) This knife is what you can expect from an expert knife maker. Only "problem" I guess you could say (more of a nitpick) is the detent placement. The blade is very fall-shut, but when you disengage the liner lock and the flipper hits your thumb, you still have to push it past that detent, if only the blade passed detent more smoothly, it would be even more perfect. Great everyday carry, VERY slicey, came pretty damn sharp. Go get one!

Love this blade!

I know many people out there don’t like CRKT very much but I think they make great knives. I love the innovation and the creativity that they use in all of their designs and this one is no exception. Top quality and smooth operation. Just be mindful that it is a rather large knife and blade if you are concerned about that sort of thing. Probably not the best knife for a knife-nervous area like the San Francisco Bay area where I live but I wear it the country when I venture outside the city limits.
