Customer Reviews

Good design, poor execution
John H. on Aug 8, 2017

I picked up 2 of these b/c I've always like Liong's designs, but didn't want to put out the cash w/o trying one first. These are slim, a little slippery and a little heavy. The action is actually pretty good. Both of the ones I have I can't get the pivot to move, even after heating with a heat gun. Good thing the detent and action are pretty good out of the box. One was for a give-away, the other I've been using has up-down blade play, my guess due to a soft lockbar engagement. Improvements I could recommend, add a presentation side G10 scale for a little grip and remove some weight. Work on the heat treat or materials used at blade/lockbar engagement area. Oh, and use blue loctite, not the red CRKT!

Wonderful knife, subpar materials

One of these days crkt will start using steels from this century, and when they do their knives will actually be worth their pricetag. If it were vg-10, or 154cm or even aus8 this knife would have 5 stars. The fact that they cut corners when it came to choosing a steel really ruins it.
