Brian Tighe has a unique ability to design knives with utility and style, as evidenced by his Tighe Tac Two folder. This model is the second generation of the first knife Brian created for CRKT.

This Tighe Tac Two has a stainless steel clip point blade with thumb studs and a flipper opener. Glass-reinforced nylon scales display a stepped angular contour for first-class grip, and of course bold style. A button lock is used to secure the blade, and a deliberate push of the button releases the blade. CRKT has outfitted the Tighe Tac Tanto with a deep carry pocket clip.

Great work knife
John E. on Mar 22, 2018

Easy to open and close one handed, good blade length to keep your knuckles away from the material your cutting, and a good workable steel that stands up to mild prying. It's also fairly rust resistant and easy to sharpen.

CZX1578 Tighe Tac Two

Another great Tighe Design fits very nicely in the hand, thumb stud flipper with a little wrist flip to open, or button to close or to flip open with. Nice deep pocket carry with tip up. Everything my family prefers in their pocket carry flippers.

Elite level fidget folder
Renae B. on Dec 18, 2018

Crkt's best folder. Manual button locks are rare, these on bearings even more so, rarer still are those with flipper openings. Of production knives I believe there are only three models on the market. These are unbelievably fun to sit and fidget with, better even than the compression or axis lock and rivaled only by the buck marksman strap lock. The tighe tac two is on this most rarified level for action and fun at any price point. It's a very solid design on top of that, great blade, ergo's, good weight and excellent carry. This truly crkt's best knife and one of the best knives under $50, it's only drawback is the steel choice.
